Established in 1989, the Governor’s Youth Commission (GYC) is a diverse body of Arizona’s high school students composed of members from all across the state. The purpose of the GYC is to engage youth through innovative programs, events and campaigns that effectively serve their communities in areas that are most meaningful to them. The Governor’s Youth Commission is housed in the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family.

Join Arizona's future leaders for Youth Leadership Day. More than 1,000 high school students from across the state will get together to hear inspiring speakers, attend leadership development workshops, and network with their peers. Our goal is for all Arizona youth to recognize their inherent skills and to help make Arizona a more prosperous state.
